Kyla Shipping is a fully-integrated shipmanagement company with a track record in managing tankers and bulk carriers.
With offices in Athens & Manila, the Company operates as a ‘boutique house’ providing world-class services that meet and exceed safety, environmental and customer requirements.

SERVICES

N/B SUPERVISION

A comprehensive site team is established for each project to ensure the builders’ full compliance with the provisions of the shipbuilding specifications and Company’s supervision standards.

CHARTERING & OPERATIONS

All vessels are managed in-house and a conservative approach is employed; when there are opportunities for long term coverage they are pursued. Nonetheless part of the fleet is traded in the spot market or short-term charters in order to capture the benefit of a rising market. Furthermore, all postfix operations are conducted in-house.

TECHNICAL & SAFETY MANAGEMENT

The fleet is supervised by experienced superintendents who monitor the proper maintenance, repairs and surveys required. In collaboration with the HSQE department there is great emphasis on continuous improvement and risk management. Safety and protection of the environment are at the core of operations.

S&P

The Company monitors the sale & purchase market in order to identify assets in the second-hand market or new-buildings that would generate appealing returns for investors.

CREW

All crewing procedures are carried out from the Manila office. The safety of all crew is our priority and knowing Kyla’s system is of utmost importance in order to minimize risk.

INSURANCE, CLAIMS & LEGAL

All claims are managed internally in close coordination with the underwriters when necessary. By having a legal department all sensitive cases and corporate matters are monitored further.

FINANCE & ACCOUNTING

Financial and accounting services work in parallel to find the optimal capital structure and control all books on behalf of the owners.

PURCHASING

The purchasing department is dedicated to ensuring timely supply of all fleet necessities globally in the most cost efficient manner. Understanding jurisdictions and optimizing supply strategies has proved to increase savings and efficiency.
